The Division of Community Assistance offers financial help to Seminiole County residents who have experienced an unexpected financial hardship for Rent, Mortgage, Utilities (Electric, Water & Gas), Dental, Rental & Utility Security Deposits, and Training. This office does NOT provide Emergency Assistance and all applicants will be contacted within 10 business days (not including weekends and holidays) after submitting a complete application. These programs require the completion of an orientation and application.
The Community Assistance Office will not be accepting any applications for rent, mortgage, utility, dental, deposit or training assistance from Monday, September 28, 2015 through Friday, October 2, 2015. We will resume processing on-line applications on October 5, 2015. All orientations scheduled for the week of September 28 – October 2, 2015 have been cancelled. In-House Orientations will resume on Monday, October 5, 2015. Our office will continue to accept pending documentation during these time frames.
